Hello everyone! First I just want to thank you for coming to my page. It’s going to be a long journey for me to become the kind of designer I hope to be, and this site will give me the opportunity to show that journey.

So here’s a little history about me. I grew up outside of Philadelphia, growing up I was pretty athletic, and intelligent, however I was also very shy, private and lacked self confidence. In school I played football, soccer, baseball, and ran track, when I got to middle school and high school it narrowed to track and football. I’ve learned a great deal from sports, and I feel like they were the most influential thing in helping to mold me into the person I am today, outside of my parents of course.

My freshman year of high school we moved to Tampa Florida. I moved again when I went off to college at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Going to the other side of the country for college was one of the best experiences of my life. The city, the people, the school, they all had a great impact on me. In a single year I learned more about myself, my hopes, my passions, my desires, and my expectations of myself. I only stayed in SF for a year, as I got farther into my major I learned more about how I wanted to use it, and where I wanted it to take me. This led me to transfer to The Savannah College of Art and Design, or SCAD. I am also taking advantage of the opportunity my college gives me to travel and taking a quarter in Hong Kong. I really enjoy traveling, getting out of my comfort zone, exploring new cultures, and meeting new people.

Four years of college and here I am. Over the years I’ve learned a lot about me, what I’m good at, what I need to work on, what I want to do with my future, etc. One of the great things about my chosen field is that it could potentially fill all of my desires, to travel, teach, explore, inspire and help facilitate positive change. So I will continue in my pursuit to push myself to become the designer I aspire to be, and as I do ill be sure to keep you all up to date.
